The Zine Shop

I fell in love with making zines while living in a tiny studio apartment on Haight Street in San Francisco. The tactile, experimental, multi-media nature of the format appealed to me, and it became a way to make sense of what I was feeling. The process is nothing short of an exercise in introspection, mindfulness, and improvisation. And lots of patience. Thanks for coming by and supporting!

How Cozy

By Rachel Hauser, February 2021

I made How Cozy one winter evening while hunkered down with my two roommates in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. In the seemingly endless cycle of dark winter days mid-pandemic, it’s that much more important to remind ourselves what brings us warmth. Things like a favorite record, homemade soup, flannel sheets.

This one page-folded pocket zine is a list of pure coziness, from me to you.

✨ B&W print on colored 120 lb. paper

✨~ 2.75” x 4.25'“

✨ Small batch, hand made in Greenpoint

Stay warm.
